ISO 45001 - OHS Standard is nearly here

The much anticipated ISO 45001 Occupational, Health and Safety management standard is nearly here. This international standard aligns with other business standards such as ISO 9001 (quality), ISO 14001 (environment) and ISO/IEC 27001 (info security), that assists organisations manage key risks as part of their business processes. Effective application of ISO 45001 reduces the risk of harm in the workplace.

Scheduled to be published in March 2018 this will see the removal of OHSAS 18001 from publication. Companies currently certified to this standard will have 3 years to move to ISO 45001.
